The Residences at Springfield Station

Been a resident now almost 2 years and I really enjoy living here. The property is well taken care of. The apartments are very nice and spacious, and all of the employees are very nice and helpful. Maintenance requests are few and always resolved very quickly. The location is perfect, can walk to the mall across the street, or the metro 10 minute walk. It's a great place to live and the team works hard to maintain it.

I moved into this place 2021 and transfer apartments last sept 2023 and now I really wish I hadn't renew my lease. Not worth the price they are charging me and I’m not satisfied with my stay. Some of the office staff are very Unprofessional. Rosa the front desk talked over me didn’t let me speak and basically blamed me for not paying attention on my rent charges every month. I had auto pay so I don’t normally check all the details. Until this month I called to find out about why my rent portal it’s not working and asked for the rent due amount a what was an extra charge for an Asset fee. Found out my renters insurance only had my current address but not the interested address. The renters insurance is one of the requirements when you move in so they should’ve known if it was IN COMPLIANCE or NOT. The office never contacted me to let me know that it didn’t go through instead they automatically started charging me for the Asset fee with out letting me know. I fixed the issue with my renters insurance and updated the interested address and send the leasing office the proof I’ve always had renters insurance and Tobi from the leasing office said they received the proof of renters insurance showing the effective date which shows active all this past months. I requested their manager to contact me and It’s almost a week and the manger haven’t call me They are quick at contacting only when it’s convenient to them.

*Three stars for sending last payment to debt collection instead of sending the bill directly to me, you had my forwarding address for three months and failed to reach out to me at all to pay it. Lived at this apartment complex for about 8 months. Overall I didn’t have too many issues or complaints. They got me moved in pretty quick and Sydney was always amazing to work with at any point. Apartment was in a very convenient area and shopping area and easy to jump on the high way to get to DC if you commute to DC/Arlington area. Parking definitely could be difficult at times but if you get in around five to six you usually could find something near your apartment without too much issue. It was usually pretty well kept and clean and I liked the garbage collection. They also do little events for the apartment complex was nice too. My biggest issue is the gate. Could you please move the sensor out a bit more so the gate starts moving a bit sooner? It could be really challenging at times to get my car half way over the speed bump and the gate wouldn’t start moving so it was difficult to at times it also would probably lower how many people hit your gate as well if you had the sensor moved a bit to open the gate a bit sooner and not half way over the speed bump. Other than that management was pretty responsive with any questions or concerns for the most part and maintenance did a good job. I found it a bit odd the final bill for move out issues or damages was sent to a debt collector company and I would of rather received it directly from the apartment complex to pay before going to a debt collectors company. But it is what it is and overall I had a positive experience with them and they were pretty good at communicating as long as you communicate your needs with them if you had issues at move out or pretty much any point while leasing with them except on the final bill of charges.

Walking into their office, my fiancé and I first noted the cleanliness and the pleasant ambiance of the place. There were a few people waiting but we were greeted warmly by the leasing manager, Lyn and were told she’d be with us shortly. Lyn was absolutely amazing. The tour itself went well and she even offered up some helpful advice but also accommodated to our specific needs regarding a unit. Everything was explained in great detail and by the end of our experience, we were more than pleased. We cannot wait to be a part of such a warm and welcoming community! If this place isn’t in your top 2 places to live, we’d highly recommend checking them out!
